About 7iu.net

7iu.net converts International Units (IU) into micrograms and milligrams for vitamins and insulin, and publishes dosage reference guides in 18 languages. It exists because supplement labels and clinical guidance rarely use the same units, and getting that conversion wrong changes what you actually take.

What this site is

A free reference tool. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy here. The converters run entirely in your browser and every guide is open to read.

Where the numbers come from

Conversion factors follow the WHO International Standards and the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. Dosage figures cite national health authorities — primarily the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, and for the Japanese pages the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dietary reference intakes. Every guide lists its sources at the foot of the page.

Who runs it

7iu.net is an independent project. It is not a company, a clinic or a supplement brand, it is not affiliated with any manufacturer, and it does not sell anything.

How it is funded

A few guides carry affiliate links to Amazon, labelled “Paid link”. If you buy through one we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links never change what a page says — see our editorial policy for how that is kept separate.

Corrections, questions and partnership enquiries: contact@7iu.net. If a number here looks wrong, please tell us — send the page address and we will check it against the source.
